Completed Stocking
It is really hard to see the texture pattern in the photo, but in person it looks really cool. I made if for my godson and finished just in the nick of time :)

StockingAlong
Welcome to the 2007 StockingAlong. The primary goal of this knitalong is to help everyone to work towards a Christmas deadline on knit (or crochet stockings). However, if you have a different holiday project in mind (tree skirt, garland, any sort of decorative type item), please feel free to join in. And, of course, those knitting for other winter holidays (Hannukah, Kwanzaa, etc.) are welcome too. The more the merrier.

I'm using that same pattern for my DH's stocking.
Your stocking is lovely! I looked at that Gansey stocking too and decided on the felted multi colored one instead, but think I'll give it a try now that I've seen yours....very nice work!
