Yarn for the SockingAlong

I got my yarn today for my stockings. It looks like Christmas. I am still hunting for a pattern that I can read and DO. I am new at reading knitting patterns, and completing stitches. I can knit, pearl, and can do short row stitching (but need help with everything else-haha). I will be sure to post pictures of my yarn and the beginning of my work!
