Done!



Here's a photo of the finished stocking hanging on the antique armoire. I am really loving how simple and uncomplicated it looks. I think I might try to make a couple more of these before Yule for friends. I've definitely got enough yarn in my stash to get rid of this way. :)

I loosely based it on a pattern in the Fall 2005 Knit It! magazine. It is just sort of a medium stocking, measuring 10 inches from top to heel, and 8 more from heel to toe.
Lesson learned? Don't knit mohair-like yarns on bamboo needles. The yarn was way too grabby and made it hard to work with. I think I will do metal needles next time around.
